5 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga

This journey is designed for travelers starting in Fes and traveling to Marrakech via Merzouga, enjoying Morocco’s diverse landscapes and an authentic Sahara desert experience along the way.

  • Day 1: Fes → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga

Depart early from Fes, crossing the Middle Atlas and cedar forests. Stop for lunch in Midelt, then continue through the Ziz Valley to Merzouga. Dinner and overnight at a hotel or guesthouse.

  • Day 2: Merzouga → Desert (Erg Chebbi)

Enjoy a 4×4 excursion around the dunes and visit nomad villages, including Khamlia for Gnawa music. After lunch, ride camels at sunset and overnight at Chez Zakaria Luxury Tent Camp Merzouga – Desert Berber Camp.

  • Day 3: Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley

Sunrise over the dunes, breakfast at the camp, return to Merzouga by camel, then visit Todra Gorges. Continue to Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 4: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou

Drive along the “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs,” stop in Ouarzazate, and visit Aït Ben Haddou (UNESCO). Dinner and overnight at a hotel or riad.

  • Day 5: Aït Ben Haddou → Tizi n’Tichka Pass → Marrakech

Depart after breakfast, crossing the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka Pass with panoramic photo stops. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and end the tour.
